We're concluding the previews of our 2011 Screens 'N' Spokes print series with the final four prints. In keeping with tradition, there's a mix of newcomers, and a couple of our longest-tenured contributors.
Tonight is the opening celebration at Mugshots Fairmount. Starting at 6:30, and going to close, we'll have all of the 2011 prints available for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going to the MS Society.
Also, there will be snacks...and beer.
1. Earlier this week we previewed a print by Sara Turner, the other half of the Cricket Press. Today, we've got Brian's print. We've been working with Brian for the past five years, and over that time he's designed some of our most lasting images, not to mention Team Screens 'N' Spokes jerseys. This year's print is pretty perfectly timed for your upcoming Day of the Dead party.
2. Basemint are a design duo out of Des Moines. We first got introduced to them through our friends at Shop Domestica, and they are the final new artist in the 2011 series. Their print is a darling portrait of a biking community. If this is what Des Moines is like, I may need to make my way out to Iowa.
3. Judge joins Jay Ryan and Greg Pizzoli as the only artists to have contributed to Screens 'N' Spokes every single year. Support like theirs is what has made this all possible. For her fifth print, Judge returns to themes from her original S'N'S design and harkens back to memories of riding around town with your siblings, cards firmly affixed to spokes, without a care in the world.
4. Just in time comes the 16th and final 2011 SNS print from Dan Grzeca. Dan also returns to past Screens 'N' Spokes territory with a companion piece to his 2008 Screens 'N' Spokes print. Although we won't have these prints up at the show, they will be available on Monday through our etsy store.
